Director of Photography / Cinematographer – Vertical Fiction Series - Madara, Spain

About this job

]]> We are looking for a talented Director of Photography / Cinematographer for a new vertical fiction series shot in 9:16 format.

The project will be filmed in Alicante / Valencia, Spain, between October 12 and November 12, 2026, with approximately 20 shooting days.

We are looking for a cinematographer with a strong contemporary visual identity and experience in fiction, fashion, commercials, music videos or premium branded content.

The series is being created specifically for vertical viewing, so we are looking for someone who understands how to use the 9:16 frame creatively — not simply adapt traditional horizontal cinematography.

We want a visual style that feels cinematic, modern, energetic and premium, with strong camera movement, expressive lighting and dynamic compositions.

The ideal candidate should have:

– Strong experience as a Director of Photography / Cinematographer
– Excellent understanding of lighting, composition and visual storytelling
– Confidence with handheld, gimbal and dynamic camera movement
– Experience shooting dialogue, close-ups and multi-character scenes
– A strong eye for fashion, commercial and contemporary cinematic aesthetics
– Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
– Experience with vertical fiction, microdramas or short-form series is a plus

We are looking for someone who can contribute creatively and help define the visual language of the series, not simply execute a shot list.

Production dates: October 12 – November 12, 2026
Estimated shooting days: approximately 20
Location: Alicante / Valencia, Spain
Fee: €4,000 total
