Role: The Teaching Assistant will work closely with the main teacher in a cooperative teaching model, supporting lessons through small-group work, learning corners, storytelling, songs, games and vocabulary activities. The TA will also prepare their own materials with guidance from the English department and take part in weekly planning meetings. A key part of the role is to encourage the natural use of English throughout the school, including informal spaces, while contributing ideas and activities that enrich the students’ learning experience.

Training: The placement is combined with official training in Early Childhood Education.

Candidate profile: Native or near-native English speaker, preferably with an interest in education, good communication skills, flexibility, responsibility and motivation to work with children.

Requirements: Legal permission to live or study in Spain, and SpanishSpanish Certificate of Sexual Offences. Previous experience with preschoolers will be valued.

Support provided: Personal and administrative guidance throughout the programme, including support with documentation, accommodation search and adaptation to the school placement.
