???????? Native US English Speaker for Baby Playtime — EL MOLAR, Madrid ?????

Hi everyone! ???? We are a Spanish family of teachers living in El Molar (north of Madrid), looking for a native US English speaker to spend time playing and talking with our 11-month-old son.

???? LOCATION — PLEASE READ!
We live in El Molar, so please check the commute before contacting us. There are direct buses from Plaza Castilla, Alcobendas and San Sebastián de los Reyes, and of course it’s easy to reach by car.

? SCHEDULE
Currently, this is a 2-hour-per-day commitment, every weekday morning, with a fixed schedule.

We are looking for someone who would like to stay with us long term. As our son gets older, we would ideally like this person to transition into a nanny role with us in the future, if it is a good fit for everyone.

???? THE GIG — FOR NOW
• 100% English exposure through play and interaction
• Talk to him throughout the entire two hours — lots of natural conversation, songs, books, questions, comments and interaction
• Follow his interests, respond to his sounds and gestures, and keep him engaged in English
• No need to prepare lessons — this is natural, playful English exposure
• NOT a nanny job at the moment: no diaper changes, feeding or housework
• One parent will always be at home

We are looking for someone fun, energetic, warm and genuinely interested in engaging with a baby. During these two hours, we are looking for constant, natural interaction in English: talking to him throughout the morning, commenting on what he is doing, following his interests, asking him questions, singing songs, reading books, playing, laughing and responding to his sounds and gestures.

The main goal is English exposure through real interaction, not simply supervising or taking care of him. We want someone who genuinely enjoys talking to him a lot and keeping him engaged in English throughout the entire time.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who would love to build a long-term relationship with our family, with the possibility of transitioning into a nanny role in the future if it is a good fit for everyone.

We are both teachers and we lived in Oklahoma and Dallas for 6 years, so we absolutely love American English and culture! ??
