About this job

Little Kickers Barcelona introduces sport in English to children aged 18 months to 8 years through our “Learning Through Play” methodology, helping them develop football fundamentals in a fun, safe, and engaging environment. We run family sessions, after-school activities, holiday camps, and birthday parties across Barcelona.

We are looking for a SPORTS COACH to join our team immediately for a long-term position, with commitment through the 2026/27 academic year. The role requires a high level of English, a passion for sport, and experience working with children. You will plan and lead psychomotor and football-based sessions for young children in their early development stages. Full training will be provided to deliver sessions independently, including Saturday family classes, after-school activities, camps, and birthday parties.

Responsibilities: planning and delivering engaging sports sessions adapted to different ages; creating a fun, energetic and positive environment; ensuring children’s safety and well-being; encouraging confidence, teamwork and participation through play; communicating with the coaching team; preparing and managing equipment; and supporting camps and special events when needed.

Requirements: experience in sports coaching and/or education with young children; native or fluent English (Spanish/Catalan is a plus); strong communication and leadership skills; ability to motivate and engage children and families; professional, punctual and sociable attitude; basic football knowledge is a plus; first aid and sports qualifications are desirable; and valid permission to work in Spain.

What we offer: fun and rewarding environment; legal contract and competitive hourly pay; full training and ongoing support; opportunities for growth; flexible schedule compatible with studies or other jobs; and a young, energetic and passionate team. No office routine—every session is active and different.

Locations: Sarrià – Sant Gervasi area (Escola Pia Sarrià, Poliesportiu La Salle, Barcelona Montessori School, John Talabot School, and other partner venues).

Availability: Saturdays (June–July 2026 and 2026/27 academic year), Monday to Wednesday afternoons (2026/27), plus flexibility for holiday camps and birthday parties.

We are looking for a committed long-term team member who enjoys sport, children, and working in a dynamic, positive environment.
