English Teacher 15h (or More) – Gràcia, Barcelona

About this job

Winter School is looking for an experienced English teacher to join our team in Gràcia, Barcelona, for the 2026–2027 academic year.

The main position consists of approximately 15 teaching hours per week, scheduled in blocks from Monday to Thursday, mainly in the afternoons and evenings.

Ideally, we are looking for someone interested in taking the full schedule, but we are also happy to hear from good teachers who may only be available for part of these hours.

There is also the possibility of increasing the schedule with additional group classes, 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 or company classes.

Salary

From €950 month for the approximately 15-hour weekly schedule, with the final salary depending on the candidate's experience and profile. Additional hours would increase this accordingly.

What we are looking for

• Native or fully native-level English
• Professional teaching experience — we are looking for an experienced teacher, not simply a native English speaker
• Experience teaching children from age 6, pre-teens and teenagers
• Good classroom management skills
• Experience preparing students for Cambridge English examinations
• Someone who genuinely enjoys teaching children and teens
• Reliable, professional and committed
• Relevant teaching qualifications are highly valued

About the classes

Our groups are small, normally between 5 and 10 students.

We work mainly with Cambridge course books, complemented with games, activities, interactive screens, Kahoots and other teaching resources.

Teachers are given clear objectives and guidelines for each term and for the end of the course, while also having the freedom to adapt their lessons to the needs and pace of each individual group.
